Stephen’s Ministry – Pastoral Care Ministry

Love one another as I have loved you.
– Jesus, The Gospel of John

Jesus walked the dusty roads offering prayer, comfort, discipleship, healing and love to those in need. As he walked these roads his feet were often covered in dust. As we at Hope Arise love one another as He did, we too have dust on our feet as we provide pastoral ministry outside the walls of the church.Stephen’s Ministry Pastoral Care is designed to support the needs of our church members, attendees, and individuals or families in our community unaffiliated with a church. Our ministry is grounded in Christ and focused on helping those who are wounded in heart, broken in spirit, and without hope.

Programs include:

Prayer and Praise – Offers prayer for needs and praise for answered prayers. Prayer can be requested of the entire congregation or can be requested in confidentiality. Confidential prayer requests will only be viewed by the Hope Arise Pastoral Staff. To share a praise or prayer request please click here.

Compassion – Offers visits to local nursing homes and unassisted living facilities. The purpose of this ministry is discipleship though friendship.

Helping Hands – Offers meal support, errand help and home visits for those recovering from health issues.

Family Counseling – Provides biblically based marriage counseling and mentor support for engaged couples, married couples and families.

Everyone needs a helping hand once in a while. Our Pastoral ministry exists for times like that. Whether you need a helping hand or want to offer one, we’d be pleased to hear from you.
